On a quiet weeknight in March 2023, Eryn's daughter came up to her and asked for a pair of leggings she'd seen online. Eryn's jaw fell to the floor when her daughter told her the price.
"WHAT?", she exclaimed. "That's daylight robbery", she thought to herself.
She was convinced that she couldn't be the only one feeling the pinch of the pervasive cost of living crisis, that saturated news in 2023-2024.
And this is why you never annoy a mum ...
Eryn decided to take matters into her own hands. She went looking for the best marterials she and her daughters would wear for their zumba classes and running.
Remember the part where Eryn thought she couldn't be the only mum thinking activewear prices had blown out of proportion?
Well, one evening over a glass of Chardy, her friend Linda shrieked, "OMG you're right, it's ridiculous", referring to how much a sports bra cost her.
Before the night ended, Linda asked Eryn if she wanted a business partner to make this happen. They shook hands before they finished the bottle of Chardy and set out on a mission to make quality activewear more affordable.
Together, they studied designs and trends in activewear and went looking for a manufacturer who'd give her exactly what she envisioned - a bold design for women pursuing their active journey.
